14 Years Later

This book tells a heartfelt and emotional true story of losing my mother at the young age of four. It is a very insightful and eye-opening book exploring the different ways it has impacted my upbringing. The book is written from my perspective, an eighteen year old girl, with of proving a worthy life for myself despite this tragedy. Throughout the book, I explain the depth of the short and long-term effects associated with a death of this extent. It is a journey of finding myself without truly having been able to form the emotional bond with the woman who was such a huge part of me. Dealing with and processing this loss didn't come easy to my family and me. However, I have found my way to rationalize the reality; through writing this book.
